Hi all!

I hope you are well, healthy and safe. This is a quick  weekly update about the production status.

As you can see Card Stands are ready and arrived at fulfillment center. THAT WAS FAST! 

Stickers will be ordered a couple of weeks before delivery because production takes 4-5 days only.

I expect Cartamundi will be quite slow even if I submitted the order last week; they are in reduced production regime due to Covid19. In any case it takes 2 months to produce and paint the 500 miniatures so I think the timing might be right.

Surveys

I lock the orders and charge the cards at the end of the month because production is initiated and orders are submitted.

Production update

Hi all!

very quick update just to show you the status of the production. As you can see I initiated the production of many items, next week I will post an updated status if needed.

Items in Stand-by

Decks and mini-decks are in stand-by because COVID-19 is slowing down the response rate from Cartamundi. I am in contact with them, but they are currently in lock-down and veeeery slow. It's been more than a month waiting for the final quote that allows me to initiate the order (paperworks).

Stickers take max 1 week for the production, so they are the last thing I order.

Surveys

Thank you again for completing the survey, it makes things much easier. 92% are completed.

Approx 80 backers are unresponsive despite the countless reminders from Backerkit. If you did not get your survey email, click here and follow the instructions.

Florentia is a Custom playing cards project celebrating beauty, art and the city of Florence.  Florentia has two main “souls”: 

Florentia Antica ("antica" means 'ancient' in Italian) and Florentia Nova ("nova" translates to 'new'). Antica and Nova represent two different visions on the same concept: to overwhelm collectors and playing cards lovers with a notable abundance of breathtaking art, history and beauty... just like the city of Florence does with its visitors.

Surveys and production

Hi all!

I hope you are well and safe. Thank you so much for completing the surveys, 88% made it, and now I have a realistic picture of the numbers I have to produce.

122 backers did not reply yet, please check your email and the junk/spam folder in case you cannot find the reminders.

Timeline

Tomorrow is survey deadline, but I think the cards will be charged at the end of the month (in case you added extra items). I will initiate the orders of most of the items and I will post updates once I have news or something to show.

Production Overview

As you can see the gate miniatures for the lid of Keymaster Ultimate (500 units) are already in production. Since it is casted resin and NOT an industrial mass produced injection-mould production, it will take a couple of months. They need time to dry and to be hand-painted, too.

I ordered the pouches, next week I should get a sample for approval. The rest is in stand-by because I am waiting to reach 90% survey completion. 

When ALL the items will marked as "ARRIVED", the fulfillment center will start shipping the parcels to the backers.

SURVEYS ARE OUT

Hi all! I hope you are well and safe.

Today I sent the survey to all the remaining backers. The smoke-test went well and there are no issues. I write here a few FAQs, in case there is something unfamiliar with this process.

What is a survey?

It is the only way to specify the items you added during the campaign and to let me know your address for the shipping of your rewards.

If you totally forget to complete the survey, I will not be able to ship the rewards you paid for.

The survey is sent by me through Backerkit with alias "KEYMASTER TAROT". It is an e-mail that looks like the following image and it will be in your mailbox. Check junk/spam folders, too.

What will you able to do?

• confirm your pledge level.
• switch to a higher pledge level (if you do this there is no coming back).
• specify what you added during the campaign.
• add more items in case you forgot to.
• enter the address (this can be changed later in case you move).
• pay the uncollected pledge if kickstarter kicked you out (backers with pledges not honored).

Why is it important to respond asap?

Since I order only what the backers pre-ordered, I need to have a count of the items as close as possible to reality. There is always someone disregarding the survey for several month, but I hope you can respond and specify what you added during the campaign.

You cannot find the email?

Is there a deadline?

I need to get a realistic count of the items you added, so I can order the correct amount. Please complete it asap. You will be able to come back and edit it later on. Best if you complete it by April 15th.

A quick look at the mandatory timeline

I initiated the production starting with the miniatures. 500 units so far, in case I need more I can add the to the order. These are handmade, so there is no mass-production restriction. The rest will be ordered once I have a count of the items.

SURVEYS (PART ONE)

Hello everybody,

I hope you are well, healthy and safe. The days are long, it feels like 2 months ago the campaign ended, but actually it is just a little more than 2 weeks. 

Today finally the funds arrived. I wonder where the money go after Kickstarter transfer them, because it took 3 days before they arrived, and we are in the digital era. Mysteries.

TIMELINE

Here is the overview, showing at what point the project is. 

I am sending the survey to 5% of the backers, randomly picked by the system. This is called Smoke Test, just to be sure that everything works as it should (see next chapter).

Today 5% of the backers will get an email from KEYMASTER TAROT. If everything goes well, and it should, the rest of the backers will receive it in the following days. I will write another update, too.

The surveys are managed by me through a platform called Backerkit. This is a backer management platform that makes things easier and clear for all of us.
